About DTF
Direct To Film Printing is a versatile decorating method that allows high quality, full color designs to be applied to a wide variety of fabrics and textiles. Designs are printed onto a specialized film and then heat transferred onto the material, creating vibrant prints with excellent detail and long lasting durability. Unlike some traditional printing methods, DTF works well on many different types of fabrics, colors and textiles. This makes it an excellent option for custom apparel, bags, and other textile products, especially for more detailed designs/ higher color counts, smaller orders and quick turnaround times.
Why Choose DTF?
Direct to film can be a great alternative to screen printing for certain types of orders, particularly designs with very high color counts on quantities less than 288 pieces. DTF allows for extremely detailed, full color prints without the need for multiple screens, making it ideal for complex artwork. DTF can also be applied to a wide range of textiles and items that can be difficult to screen print, such as hats, bags, and other specialty products. The finished prints are soft, capture fine detail, and can reproduce virtually unlimited colors. DTF transfers offer excellent durability and washability that, in many cases, can be comparable to screen printing.
